Diana Ghetau is one of the newest members of Lenses of Croydon. She describes herself as a photographer that specialises in family photography.
Diana discovered her interest in photography when she was 16 years old, and a year after winning a national photography contest, her entire world changed. Following her friend’s advice, she decided to pursue studies in photography, but she couldn’t find her niche for many years after completing her studies. Her journey of self-discovery as a photographer felt like an extremely long process for her, involving many projects and sometimes bad investments, which caused her many a setback. Still, eventually, Diana could tell that she found her way in the beautiful world of photography she chose to enter.
Throughout the years, Diana has had to overcome lots of challenges. Still, it’s because of her experiences that every time she grabs her camera, she is now able to say to herself, “that’s what I am, a photographer.
Diana has kindly donated a print of one of the images for our event prize draw. While any size donation is welcomed, donations of £3 will entitle you to an entry into the evening’s prize draw, and a donation of £5 will give you two prize draw entries and so forth.
